Director & Lead Technician
Southsea-based Kerry (31) worked as Lead Technician at The Dyson Hub since 2015 when it was still in Kingston Crescent. In April 2018 Kerry had the opportunity to buy the business and manage her own Company. Previously Kerry had engaged with her customers and knew that most of you wanted The Dyson Hub to return to Portsmouth. As soon as the right shop became available The Dyson Hub moved to Copnor Road, close to where Kerry used to visit her Grandparents as a child.
Kerry’s passion for sustainability and value for money runs through everything she does at the Dyson Hub. The confidence to set up your own business comes when you let go of the old fashioned restraints many of us are still shackled by. If you wait till the time is perfect to become your own boss, you may miss the opportunity. Kerry decided to grab life in both hands.
Small business is no longer about growth, profits and sitting behind a desk in a suit and tie. It is about finding your way in the world in the most sustainable and enjoyable way. With the ability to be able to establish a secure future.
Jill has worked at The Dyson Hub since the early days when it was ‘Pompey Dysons’. She has worked with all models of Dyson through the rise and fall of its products. Jill’s affection and passion for customers has always been a blessing to the business. Therefore to be able to offer solutions where the manufacture fails rather satisfying to her. Jill’s friendly and personable manner is responsible for the excellent reviews across many online platforms because of the efforts she will meet to see that her customers are happy.
Jill was very happy when The Dyson Hub moved to Copnor Road because it means she can see her Daughters & Grandchildren more often.
Jill & Kerry both take enormous pride in being an empowered women only workforce. They hope their story encourages more local people to have the courage to go for what they want in life.
